Our children are teens, that means we can get a little more dangerous furniture.  Their beds are older and will need to change  it to more of teen bedding,  I will keep the mattress part, replace frame/headboard and dresser and/or chest of drawers. Maybe some new sheets too, and comforters. The only problem is the teens can be picky sometimes on color and style.  They also want  beds with some style and storage, I guess to store sheets and blankets.

Now that Windows XP Service pack 3 is out and loaded on my computer, I have noticed that the computer is acting a little sluggish. Did MS add a provision in the update so you might to have add more memory to your computer.  I have 1GB, now why should I ever need any more.  Now the computer gods think every time there is an new version of an operating system that we all should buy new updated computer hardware with increased memory.

It is a never ending cycle, new operating system new hardware. Kind of like Yin and Yang.

I have been reading for days about the big Sprint Nextel, Clearwire along with Google and Intel to take on AT&T. They are planning to bring to market a faster network technology call WiMax technology. This WiMax technology will create the first WiMax network that can transmit data to wireless laptops and mobile phones up to five times faster that today's current technology. This is starting to sound pretty cool. Five time faster.

The WiMax will offer wider coverage than todays Wi-Fi systems. Time to sign up.

There has been over 4000 reported infected sites. The Worm assaults add invisible code to your site and that will force visitors to download malware onto your PC.

The worm uses a SQL injection attack. The Worm Attack highlights the importance of keeping your site secure. The ISC wants everyone to keep your own PC software up-to-date. You can even be hit by the flaw in the old Real Player Software. I know we all hate virus. I think one of my PC's had this worm, I ran Spybot 1.5 and used AVG free virus software and was able to clean it off. OMG I was so lucky. Next time the user better leave the anti-virus software running.

The the near future I have two prizes that will have that extra special day, hopefully only once in their lifetime.  This day will define the start of a new life, like a union between individuals. It seems that Google is maneuvering to make their Google Reader RSS tool into a more social avenue by adding some features that will let its users share specific content and add notes about why they are sharing it. It is starting to sound very social to me.  The G Reader updates will provide its users with "bookmarklets" that will let them share content from the Web pages from any site. This also will include websites that do not even have a feed.

G Reader users will be able to select some text from the web page before you have to click on the bookmarklet allowing the selection to appear as the item's body.  Kinda like the way StumbleUpon works.  Very nice.

Use the 'Share with note' button on the item toolbar to create a copy of the item with your own note attached to it, including comments that will explain to others why you are sharing this content. 

Looks like Google is migrating a little at a time in the social media area.

There was a delay of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) because of a compatibility bug in the point-of-sale software Microsoft sells.

Windows update is ready to install Microsoft Windows Update SP3 download as approximately 67MB in size. You will have to re-boot once you install this. There is also a larger size file of 316MB stand-alone installer on the download site and for users needing to updating multiple machines. Have used these before, had to update 50 at a time. An even larger .iso, or disk image, file is available on  Microsoft's Download Center. The disk image tipped the scales at 545MB. Good that means it can be put on a CD.
